Site Design Not Easy After All..

11 06 2008

After finishing my “CIW – Site Designer” course, I started working on a small project using the Adobe Creative Suite 3.

At first, site design seems to be an easy task, fairly straightforward, but it turns out there’s just too many issues involved.

Site design requires a lot of work. It’s almost like designing a new application. Obviously, you can’t just jump straight to business. The drawing board plays a vital role to prep a design plan, and it will save you lots of delete-and-rewrites. I learned that the hard way. I know that jumping the gun is tempting, but believe me it’s always bound to make things worse.

So, for now, I hope I get through this with the least number of mistakes. I’ll post a link to the project when -and if- it’s finished.
